The Software Engineering (Infrastructure) builds large distributed components that run the

application. The code serves millions of requests per second and it does so with sub-second latency

and in a fault tolerant manner. The codes provide a runtime environment for front end code. We are

looking for candidates who share a passion for tackling complexity and building platforms that can

scale through multiple orders of magnitude.

Responsibilities

1. Design core, backend software components

2. Build low-latency, highly scalable, distributed, high performance last mile computing in gRPC

3. Build web service primarily in Python and Node.js

4. Build payment gateway and services in Adyen

5. Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build high scale backend services

6. Write elegant, readable, and well-documented code

Minimum Qualifications

1. BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

2. Extensive experience building large-scale server applications is preferred

3. Experience with Windows Azure is preferred

4. Experience with gRPC

5. Knowledge of Python and/or Node.js

6. Knowledge of non-relational databases

7. Strong analytical skill is a plus

8. Strong communication skill is a plus
